The song was nominated for Best pop single of 2010 and Wizkid himself won several awards for the song itself even before the entire album was released. The second and third single from the album were released later in 2010 with the first official album releasing in its entirety in 2011.
Another big year for Wizkid was the year 2015 when he released the music video for his single ‘Ojuelegba’ which was a song about the musician’s early life and the struggles he faced in the starting stages of his career in music. During his glorious career, Wizkid has been on several world tours and sold out performances all of which helped him rake in the money.
He also releases several singles and albums during his career and in 2015 he announced the release of two more singles. He was also part of the ‘One Dance’ song by Drake in 2016 and the song reached number one on the billboards making him more popular than ever before.
